about me

Hi! I’m Lauren!

I’ve been dabbling in all sorts of witchy and esoteric stuff since I was a tiny thing. I made a presentation about ghost hunting in fifth grade and gave a persuasive speech about astrology in an eleventh-grade debate elective. Was I a cool kid? Absolutely not! (Braces, curly hair, and, for some inexplicable reason, bifocals, all at once, baby!) But I had fun.

Tarot has, for many years, been an immensely helpful tool for me in untangling my thoughts and directing my actions. Since becoming a slightly more serious reader in the past several years, I’ve found the cards have a way of knowing whatever it is that I need to know, and I just have to be open and ready to receive the message (even, or especially, when I don’t like it). I love sharing their power with others.

When I’m not reading cards, I’m a freelance writer and editor; an advocate for my son’s public school; and a big-time yogi, meditator, gardener, reader, crossword puzzle-doer, and scary movie-watcher. I clean my house for fun, and there isn’t a thing on this planet that I can’t turn into an anxiety spiral.
